2017 Zhengzhou "Parrot Cup" Accordion Art Festival ended successfully

　　 On the evening of January 2, 2017, the 2017 China Zhengzhou "Parrot Cup" Accordion Art Festival, directed by the Accordion Society of the Chinese Music Association, hosted by the Accordion Professional Committee of the Henan Musicians Association, and hosted by the Conservatory of Music of Zhengzhou University, came to a successful conclusion.

　　The guests who attended the opening concert were accordion player, educator, and Vice President of the Chinese Music Association Accordion Society Mr. Wang Shusheng; Ms. Wang Congyu, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Music Association Accordion Society and Chairman of the Shanghai Music Association Accordion Professional Committee; Shanxi Mr. Chen Jianyi, President of the Accordion Society of the Provincial Music Association; Mr. Li Jianlin, Vice Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Music Association and Chairman of the Accordion Professional Committee; Mr. Zhang Xinhua, Vice Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Music Association and President of the Inner Mongolia Keyboard Society; Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Music Association Accordion Professional Committee Mr. Fu Yong; Mr. Xiong Chengmin, President of the Accordion Society of Hubei Provincial Music Association; Mr. Shan Jianxin, Dean of the School of Music of Hebei Normal University. The leaders attending the opening ceremony included Mr. Li Zhongdang, Vice Chairman of Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of Musicians Association; Mr. Guo Weiwei, Director of Sports Health and Art Education Division of Henan Education Department; Vice Chairman of Henan Music Association, Zhengzhou Mr. Gong Wei, Dean of University School of Music, etc. The opening concert was directed by Ding Qi, deputy director of the jury of the festival, and specially invited domestic young accordionists and world champions Wang Hanzhi and Tan Jialiang to participate in the opening concert. Solo, ensemble, concerto, and various forms of performance were performed in turn, allowing the audience to feel the cordial greetings from the accordion on the first day of the new year.
